Weβre seeking a Service Engineer to join a high-performing team working on a variety of HVAC projects. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of complex cooling systems, including chillers and air conditioning equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work independently across small, medium and large chillers
- Complete works on scroll, reciprocating, and screw compressors
- Carry out PPM visits and repair works
- Perform advanced fault-finding and diagnostics
- Ensure accurate reports of work are on time and to a high standard
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and company policies
- Develop understanding of Health and Safety regulations
Service Engineer desired Skillset and Characteristics:
- Diploma in air conditioning and refrigeration or equivalent
- Category 1 F Gas qualification or equivalent
- Full driving licence
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both the engineering team and office team
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good attention to detail
- High level of self-motivation
- Ability to utilise manufacturers service software
- A sound understanding of data and how it is used
- Ability to work on centrifugal/ Turbocor compressors
- Ability to work on other types of equipment such as air conditioning, AHUs and refrigeration is desirable
