We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Manager to join our Global Business Services (GBS) practice, focusing on Financial Transformation. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading international consulting business, delivering impactful solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
The Role:
- As a Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining and growing client relationships through exceptional delivery.
- You will be instrumental in identifying and selling on new opportunities within existing client accounts, leveraging your strong written and verbal communication skills to design compelling deliverables and provide expert client advice.
- This role requires a proactive individual who can lead project workstream teams from planning through to execution, demonstrating significant experience in change management and the ability to work under your own initiative.
- You will engage with UK, International, and Global clients, showcasing a broad cross-sector and capability awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and grow client relationships through delivery excellence and proactive engagement.
- Identify and sell on new opportunities within existing client accounts.
- Design deliverables and provide expert client advice with strong written and verbal communication.
- Lead project workstream teams from planning through to execution.
- Drive change management initiatives within client engagements.
- Work autonomously and take initiative in problem-solving and solution delivery.
- Develop and demonstrate cross-sector and capability awareness across various industries.
- Engage with a diverse range of clients, including UK, International, and Global entities.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience in a consulting environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain and grow client relationships through delivery excellence.
- Track record of identifying and selling on opportunities at existing clients.
- Strong capability in both written and verbal communication for designing deliverables and providing client advice.
- Experience leading project workstream teams from planning through to execution.
- Significant change management experience.
- Ability to work under own initiative with minimal supervision.
- Cross-sector / capability awareness across various industries.
Technical Experience:
- Deep knowledge and experience in Global Business Services (GBS) and Shared Services.
- Extensive experience in Finance processes, including PTP (Procure-to-Pay), OTC (Order-to-Cash), RTR (Record-to-Report), and FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis), with deep knowledge in at least one sub-process area.
- Working knowledge of HR and IT processes.
- Experienced in Operating Model design and implementation.
- Finance systems deployment experience.
- Awareness and knowledge of current and emerging market trends.
- Good understanding of business transformation and programme management lifecycle.
Technology Experience:
- SAP, Oracle advantageous but not essential.
Qualifications:
- A relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Desirable Attributes:
- Experience across a variety of industries (excluding wall-to-wall experience with FS and Public Sector, which is not a primary requirement for this role).
