Production Team Leader

We are supporting our client, a leading independent manufacturer and wholesaler based in Ipswich who are looking for a Production Team Leader to join their fast-growing company to oversee and drive performance across two production teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on leader who is passionate about motivating others and contributing to a high-performing, collaborative work environment. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and support two production-based teams to achieve daily and long-term performance targets * Be actively involved in the warehouse, working alongside the team to identify opportunities for improvement * Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and foster a positive working culture * Monitor productivity, quality, and efficiency, ensuring standards are consistently met * Act as a key point of contact between team members and senior management * Build trust and strong working relationships across all levels of the business Previous Skills & Experience: * Previous experience in a team leader, line leader, or supervisory role within a production or manufacturing environment * Hands-on approach, willing to get involved and lead by example * Trustworthy, dependable, and proactive with excellent communication skills * Strong people skills with a focus on coaching and developing others * Able to manage priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment In return, the successful candidate will benefit from a competitive salary, opportunities for progression, a friendly and supportive working environment, company bonuses* and more
