1st Step Solutions are supporting a M&E Contractor who have an opportunity for a BMS and Metering Compliance Manager to join their London team.
Role Overview:
- Provide early-stage input on projects to assess BMS (Building Management System) and metering requirements, ensuring cost-effective and technically sound solutions.
- Prepare scope documents and detailed specifications to facilitate accurate and competitive tenders from BMS and metering supply chain.
- Support the Project Team in tender evaluations and assist in selecting qualified sub-contractors for control systems work, including participation in post-tender interviews.
- Review and contribute to the development of control panel drawings and operational descriptions, and conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) inspections.
- Perform regular site visits to monitor and report on the technical compliance and quality of BMS and metering installations throughout all stages of construction.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Review and provide feedback on:
- Technical submissions for plant and equipment with control interfaces
- Control valves, sensors, meters, and other control hardware
- Points schedules
- Commissioning test and commissioning procedures (TCPs) and method statements
- Client training materials
- Seasonal commissioning documentation
