Our store

Located in Central Scotland, Specsavers Stirling are looking for an experienced or newly qualified Dispensing Optician to join thier team on a full or part time basis. The focus at this store is about pulling together and working as a team to ensure that our valued patients have an excellent experience. The store is fully equipped with the latest clinical technology, including OCT and Phoropters. With a focus on flexibility, we are open to full-time and part-time applicants and will consider any working pattern to suit you. So, whether you need condensed hours, alternate weekends or early finishes, we’re open to making it work.

Our team

We have a wonderful team in our store ready and waiting for you to meet. Our Dispensing Opticians are an integral part of our store team, so we’re keen to get you up to speed. We are passionate about the clinical development of our team, and as our new Dispensing Optician, we would like to support you with extra courses and specialisms that interest you. With a team of 38 – which includes fully trained optical assistants, everything is in place to let you focus on what you do best.

We do need you to have a few skills to get started in this role. Firstly, you’ll need a BSc (HONS) in Ophthalmic Dispensing and an excellent understanding of both the optics and audiology customer journeys. You must have excellent listening and communication skills, be passionate about providing top-notch customer service, and be a great team worker. Got all of these? We can’t wait for you to apply!
