We are looking for a skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analysing structures, ensuring that they are safe and meet all relevant codes and standards.
Role Overview:
- Producing design solutions from initial conception, through to design completion for structural engineering projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Design and analyse structures using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SAP2000.
- A good working knowledge of TEKLA TEDDS, TSD.
- Ensure that structures are safe and meet all relevant codes and standards.
- Work with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure that designs are feasible and meet project requirements.
- Prepare technical reports for clients.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in structural engineering, post-qualification experience ideally gained within a consultancy environment.
- Chartered or progressing towards Chartership.
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices.
- Experience with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SAP2000.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Good communication skills and written English.
- Ability to work in a team to solve problems that matter.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary up to £45,000 dependent on experience.
- 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
- 36.5 hours working week with 4pm finish on Fridays.
