Our client is currently seeking to hire an In-House Commercial Property Solicitor on a 12-month FTC. This is a predominately remote working opportunity offering excellent flexibility, a competitive salary, car allowance, and a full suite of employee benefits.
This role offers the chance to advise on a broad, high-value commercial property portfolio, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, licenses, easements, and estates management. Ideal for a confident, commercially minded property solicitor looking for a hands-on in-house role in a dynamic and fast-paced business.
Key Responsibilities- Advise on commercial property transactions across a diverse UK portfolio.
- Draft and negotiate heads of terms, leases, licences, easements, and freehold transfers.
- Lead on legal due diligence for acquisitions, leaseholds, and wider commercial tenders.
- Provide practical legal input on landlord & tenant matters, including terminations, breaks, rent reviews and alterations.
- Manage SDLT filings and Land Registry applications.
- Advise on estates management issues including boundary disputes, rights of way, and compulsory purchase orders.
- Work with external legal and professional advisers on more complex transactions.
- Ensure all legal property transactions are progressed and completed efficiently.
- Qualified Solicitor with four years plus PQE and solid commercial property experience.
- Candidates will be considered with either an In-House or private practice background.
- You will have a strong understanding of landlord and tenant and end-to-end property transaction processes.
- Be commercially astute, pragmatic, and able to balance legal risk with business objectives.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative in-house setting.
