About the Role

As one of our Customer Delivery Drivers, you’ll bring the unique blend of quality Waitrose produce and Partner‑led service right to our customers’ doors. You’ll also support the shop team with daily tasks like stock replenishment and housekeeping when you’re not on the road.

To work in this role you must be 18 years or older.

Key Responsibilities

• Check delivery routes for the day.
• Load and prepare van for deliveries, ensuring orders are grouped efficiently.
• Complete vehicle safety checks and maintain road compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service, acting as an ambassador for the Waitrose brand.
• Help customers with shopping and build rapport.
• Support shop team with general shopkeeping tasks as needed.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Full valid B‑Category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Time management skills.
• Physical ability to lift crates and move cages.
• Independent, self‑motivated, adaptable.
• IT literate.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Previous driving experience and knowledge of chilled vehicles.
