Office Clerks are the liaison between Kimbrell's Furniture and our valued customers. Employees in these roles are responsible for communicating directly with customers. This role requires a high level of professionalism, customer service, persuasion, and negotiation skills, as well as a mind for problem-solving to work with customers to resolve their debts and collect payment. A high level of attention to detail, confidentiality, and excellent record keeping ensure that payment plans are recorded and followed as agreed.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers diligently, courteously, and professionally while collecting payments.
- Must have good knowledge of cash management procedures and best practices.
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Follow set strategies for collection procedures.
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts.
- Ability to gather and verify customers’ personal and credit information.
- Retain customer loyalty while initiating processes for the collection of payments.
- Maintain and update records of customers from whom collections are made.
Requirements:
- Proven experience or similar role.
