A leading and growing cost consultancy are looking to add an Associate Quantity Surveyor to their growing team in Central London, Farringdon.
The Associate Quantity Surveyor will be joining a leading and growing cost consultancy, who are looking to grow their team, as they have a strong pipeline of work. You would be joining a young, ambitious and hard-working team of 70 Quantity Surveyors in London.
As a company, their bread and butter is Commercial projects, mainly working on CAT A and CAT B fit out including cut and carve projects. But their QS get will also get involved in supporting all the sectors they cover including Education, Healthcare, Hotels, Leisure, Mixed use, Offices, Public Building, Residential and Science.
This is a very hands-on role and is more project delivery based, however you will be part of the senior management team so you will also be involved in the Business Development and running team meetings. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to get involved with the growth of a business both in terms of using business development skills to bring in new work and growing the team around you.
Requirements:
- BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree
- MRICS or currently working towards it
- Experience within a private practice/consultancy
- Strong pre and post contract knowledge
- Business development experience
- Capable of supporting the management of a team and mentoring junior colleagues
