Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 17:00pm

Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Machinist to join a reputable and well-established company based in Stanmore on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous machinist experience, particularly with press machines operated by foot pedal, or from a printing or similar mechanical environment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, practical, and confident working in a fast-paced production setting.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operating a press machine using a foot pedal
  • Ensuring all work meets quality and production standards
  • Conducting visual inspections and quality checks
  • Labelling, packaging, and manual handling of products
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Assisting with general production and warehouse duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a machinist is essential
  • Experience with press machines or within the printing industry
  • High attention to detail and strong safety awareness
  • A proactive team player with a strong work ethic
  • Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet throughout the day
