Sharp Consultancy are supporting a highly reputable engineering business based in Sheffield as they look to recruit a Transactional Finance Supervisor on an ongoing temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation that prides itself on innovation and operational excellence. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the transactional finance function, ensuring smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and supporting a small team across the transactional finance function.
- Overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Managing bank reconciliations across the team and ensuring a high level of accuracy and supporting Treasury activities.
- Supporting process improvements and ensuring compliance with financial controls.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience in a similar supervisory or team leader role within a finance function.
- Strong working knowledge of AP, AR, Treasury and reconciliations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
