This is an exciting time to be joining Renfrewshire Council. The Council is in the middle of an ambitious £40 million 5 year roads infrastructure investment programme.

We are expanding our Road Operations team in order to deliver on a wide range of priority infrastructure related projects across Renfrewshire.

Based at Underwood Road Depot, Paisley, you will, as part of a team, undertake operations in the maintenance of roads, footways and drains, and work with plant and equipment, and digital technology.

You will be required to participate in the Services Winter Maintenance and Summer standby service to ensure the Council has an effective response to winter weather conditions.

You will have a relevant appropriate qualification or evidence of professional competence and skill and experience in highway maintenance. You must have effective communication, organisational, time management skills, be flexible in your approach to work and be able to maintain effective working relationships within the workplace.

A driving license is desirable for the post.
