We’re working with a rapidly growing financial planning firm in Liverpool that’s expanding its support team and offering a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Paraplanner to join them onsite. About the role:
As a Junior Paraplanner, you’ll be supporting the paraplanning and advisory team with a mix of technical and administrative tasks, gradually taking on more responsibility as your experience and qualifications grow.
Typical duties include:
- Preparing research and technical information to support financial recommendations
- Drafting suitability reports for review and compliance approval
- Gathering and analysing client data, including fact-finds and existing policy information
- Liaising with providers for valuations and product information
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting advisers in client planning meetings
- Assisting with ongoing reviews, cashflow modelling, and client servicing
What we’re looking for:
- Completion of at least a few exams toward the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (CII or equivalent)
- Experience in an IFA support, paraplanning assistant, or technical administration role
- A solid understanding of financial planning basics: pensions, investments, ISAs, protection
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- A genuine desire to progress in a technical role with long-term career ambitions
