Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic professional to lead the Landscape and Ecology team. With climate change and green spaces at the top of the Council’s priorities, this is an exciting time to work with a passionate team committed to preserving and enhancing the Council’s open spaces and woodlands.
You will be a confident project and contract manager with the ability to deliver service improvements and manage high profile front-line arboricultural contracts.
Communication will be a key part of the role and excellent communication skills will be required to lead and coordinate different services, stakeholders, and agencies to promote safe and attractive green spaces to support the borough’s wellbeing. The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring accurate and updated information is provided to our communities on our key services.
