This role will be based at our Coventry University Scarborough Campus, YO11 2JW. The Campus Services team at our Scarborough campus provides a full range of customer-focused cleaning services designed to meet the growing needs of the University. These services include the cleaning of all University sites and University-managed facilities, as well as deep cleaning using specialist equipment.

Working as part of a team on a 5-day over 7 rota, you will undertake a comprehensive range of cleaning duties on a daily basis. Using the cleaning equipment and materials provided, you will clean a variety of areas including, but not limited to, communal spaces, teaching areas, stairwells, corridors, and washrooms—ensuring all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and rubbish is removed. By delivering a customer-focused service to our students, staff, and external visitors, you will ensure that all COSHH and Health & Safety legislation is consistently followed. Additionally, you may be required, from time to time, to work at premises that the University currently owns or may acquire in the future.

Our Successful Candidate

You will have experience of general cleaning activities to a high standard, and you will be self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Excellent customer service and communication with knowledge of Health & Safety guidelines and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) are essential for this role.
