Job Role: Night Support worker

location: York

Salary: 12.60phr

Shift pattern: a mixture of days and nights and weekends

We\’re seeking a dedicated and caring Support Worker to join our team in providing exceptional support to people with learning disabilities.

About The Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with learning disabilities to achieve their goals and live independently. Your work will involve providing personalised support in various settings, including residential homes, day centres, and community environments. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in people\’s lives and contribute to the well-being of your community.

Experience

Provide tailored support to individuals with learning disabilities, focusing on their unique needs and goals.

Assist with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care.

Facilitate social interactions and community engagement to promote independence and inclusion.

Ensure a safe and healthy environment for all service users.

Work closely with families, health care professionals, and other stakeholders to achieve holistic support.

Previous Experience Supporting Individuals With Learning Disabilities Is Desirable.

Ability to communicate effectively with service users, families, and colleagues.

Compassionate and patient approach to supporting individuals with diverse needs.
