EMPLOYMENT BASIS: Permanent

LOCATION: Gloucester

HOURS OF WORK: 42.5 per week

REPORTS TO: Internal Sales & Customer Support Manager

PURPOSE OF ROLE: This role is focused on building and maintaining customer relationships, providing them with quick responses to their enquiries and proactively following up quotations to secure orders.

TEAM FUNCTION: We promote ourselves as a premium distributor for over 400 different pump brands. As a result, we receive a high volume of enquiries every day for a wide range of different types of pumps, clients and applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responding to pump enquiries through multiple channels, including phone, email, live chat, and website contact forms
  • Proactively contacting suppliers to ensure quick responses
  • Specify appropriate pump systems and replacement pumps/spares according to requirements and specification needs
  • Collaborating effectively with team members and offering support when needed
  • Diligently following up on quotations to secure updates and convert enquiries into orders

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Experience in working with customers who purchase technical equipment

  • A level of commercial acumen
