Class 1 Personnel are working with a local client to recruit a HGV2 Dustcart Driver for their site based in Brentwood, Essex. You will be delivering customers' products to the required premises ensuring all customers receive exceptional customer service as part of a multi-drop delivery route. The driver will ensure that all products are transported safely to the customers' premises, treating their freight as if it were their own.

- Maximum of 6 points on licence and no bans.

Main job description for the HGV2 Dustcart Driver:
- Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements at all times.
- Participate in waste collections, manoeuvre the vehicle and take responsibility for collection route ensuring completion and report any issues that may occur to the line manager.
- All daily checks are undertaken ensuring defects are immediately reported and correct paperwork complete.
- Always observe procedures and policies.
- Manage your routing to ensure premium and timed deliveries are achieved.
- Ensure the correct equipment and PPE (personal protective equipment) is in good order and always used.
- Deal with any customer issues in a polite and effective manner.
Ideal Qualities:
- Good attention to detail
- Good level of physical fitness
- Reliability and good time keeping skills.
- Previous experience working on Dustcarts is desirable.
Working 37hrs a week Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30, finishing at 15:00 hrs on Friday. Pay rates from £17.18. This role is being offered on an ongoing basis. Plenty of overtime available: Saturday at time and a half and bank holidays at double time.
