Smile Education is proud to be working in close partnership with the Endeavour Multi Academy Trust to recruit an experienced and dedicated Primary SEND Learning Support Assistant for one of their welcoming schools based in Tamworth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic professional who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a nurturing and inclusive environment. About the Role: Provide 1:1 support for primary-aged pupils with a range of SEND Deliver curriculum-aligned activities adapted to suit individual learning needs Support pupils with personal care where required Work alongside a large, supportive team of professionals within the school Be flexible with working days to accommodate the needs of the pupils and the school“Here at the school, we are proud to offer a specialist teaching provision that enables all our pupils to lead fulfilling lives and be as independent as possible – by developing their strengths and creating a ‘can-do’ attitude to life and learning.” Candidate Requirements: A minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Education Recent experience supporting Primary-aged pupils with SEND in a UK school setting Confident working independently while also taking direction as part of a collaborative team Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and experience adapting it to suit SEND learners Proven experience supporting children with autism, challenging behaviour, and learning disabilities Up-to-date understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to inclusive education Able to provide two references, including one that confirms your experience working with children Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to apply for a new one through Smile EducationWhat We Offer: A supportive, inclusive school environment The opportunity to work in a specialist provision committed to pupil development Ongoing guidance and support from your dedicated Smile consultant A chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of pupils with SENDInterested?
