Aspired talent are looking for Warehouse operatives (Nights) for our Client in Preston.
HOURS: TUESDAY TO SATURDAY - 40 HOURS PER WEEK - 0030AM - 0900AM
SALARY: £25,912.61 PER ANNUM - £12.46 Per Hour, Bank holidays - time and half rate at £18.69 per hour.
We currently have a position within our warehouse for a full time warehouse operative nights with forklift. There will also be an element of driving required for this role, as and when the business requires.
You will be required to receive the inbound stock ensuring the temperature is compliant at all times, manage goods in, picking, labelling, packing and despatch paperwork. In addition to this you will assemble clinical packaging and labelling activities to include controlling, verifying, printing, issuing and recording labels for production. You will ensure the maintenance of appropriate quantities of stock levels within the packaging area, undertaking stock counts and processing returns.
The positions are on a Tuesday to Saturday basis, 40 hours per week, however flexibility with regard to hours will be required as the shift times may alter dependent on volume, and may be of an urgent medical nature.
Key responsibilities:
- Check pharmaceutical products
- Load and unload vehicles
- Receive in-bound consignments and allocate in warehouse
- Ensure pharmaceutical products are stored within the correct temperature range
- Goods in, picking, labelling, packing and despatch
- Processing returns including quarantined, damaged or batch recalls
- Follow standard operating procedures in the pick and pack operation
- Driving between depots, or to cover the Edinburgh route when required
Key Skills/Experience/Requirements:
- Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment essential. Prior experience of working in temperature controlled environment desired but not essential.
- Good reading skills and numerate
- Computer literate - Word, Excel, Internet, Intranet
- Good team player with the ability to use own initiative when required
- Good organisation skills with the ability to prioritise the workload
- An eye for detail
