About the Role: We’re seeking a commercially-minded Financial Controller to join a growing group of services businesses backed by proven investors. This is not your typical FC role — you’ll drive financial performance, lead a small but capable team, and build the reporting engine that powers strategic growth. Perfect for a hands-on FC ready to step into a Group-level role with real influence and visibility.
What You’ll Do:
- Own monthly close, group consolidations, and multi-entity reporting
- Design and deliver Board-ready packs and investor dashboards
- Lead statutory accounts, audit, and tax with external advisors
- Implement robust internal controls, improve finance systems (e.g. NetSuite, Xero, QuickBooks)
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A alongside senior leadership
About You:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with 5–8+ years’ experience
- Prior experience in multi-entity or group finance
- Hands-on with controls, compliance, and reporting infrastructure
- Great communicator with the confidence to challenge and lead
- Bonus: Background in people-based industries or PE/VC-backed businesses
