The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Scheduler to join a well established Joinery company based in Stockport. Our client offers an early Friday finish and a very enjoyable working culture. This is a pivotal role within the overall organisation, and you will be responsible for the daily performance of the production and manufacturing facility.

  • Plan works
  • Check information received for errors/omissions and notify appropriate staff for action
  • Assist in the preparation & issue of Factory manufacturing schedules (Framesets/CNC)
  • Prepare / develop schedules / cutting lists as required for workshop production
  • Liaise with site managers/contracts managers/supply only clients where required to clarify details / request additional information
  • Provide updates to the Production Director of delivery dates and manufacture periods
  • Interpret drawings/specifications
  • Review revised drawings and amend documentation
  • Ensure products are manufactured in line with the relevant Global assessment details
  • Ordering/purchasing materials
  • Purchasing materials using various internal procurement methods, ensuring best rate for all materials
  • Ensuring purchase orders raised are monitored for delivery/quality/quantity and signed off once all criteria are met
  • Assist in cost monitoring
  • Attend contract/progress meetings

Skills:

  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Ability to function well as part of a team and as an individual
  • Methodical and diligent attention to detail
  • UK Driving License
  • Computer literate (Word and Excel)
  • Experience in joinery and a technical understanding of manufacturing is beneficial but not essential
