Working in our Safety, Health, Environment, Risk & Compliance Team, the Safety Health & Environment (SHE) Advisor will advise and support the delivery of a Group wide progressive SHE management programme. The focus for this role will suit a candidate who has a passion for, and experience in, developing safe systems of work, procedures, audits and investigation reports. This post may also suit a Liability Adjuster with safety experience.
**Please note, we are flexible on the successful candidate's location. The ideal candidate would be located anywhere between Peterborough - Milton Keynes - Colchester.
Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:
- Experience of working within a Health & Safety Advisor role or as a Liability Adjuster with safety experience
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of safety, occupational health and environmental legislation
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbally, with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Audit, monitoring, investigation and report writing skills
- Working knowledge of ISO accreditation standards
- Proficient in MS Office packages including Excel and Word
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- Full UK Driving Licence
