Senior Mechanical Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer Mid Kent, Near Aylesford Salary £40k to £55k – DOE Mechanical Design Engineer / Building Services / MEP / Consultancy / Senior Mechanical Design Engineer This role is to join a thriving practice of mechanical and electrical building services design engineers, they cover a range of sectors including a lot of projects in residential. You will be a mechanical design engineer at either intermediate or senior level and upon joining will become part of a highly supportive team environment where you’ll feel like a trusted, valued professional and colleague from day one. Responsibilities * Establish client brief, technical requirements, scope of works and provide information for cost plans either alone or alongside a senior engineer dependent on your current experience level. * Design, manage and supervise projects * Produce drawings and specifications. * Carry out concept design to detailed design through to tender and completion. * Determine the need for and attend project progress meetings. * Maintain client and design team relationships. * Manage projects from inception through to completion. Experience Required * Proven experience as a mechanical design engineer within building services. * Preferably degree qualified. * Chartered or a desire to become chartered would be beneficial although not essential. * Knowledge of British Standards. * Excellent communication and written skills
