This role is to join a thriving practice of mechanical and electrical building services design engineers, covering a range of sectors including many projects in residential.
You will be a mechanical design engineer at either intermediate or senior level and upon joining will become part of a highly supportive team environment where you’ll feel like a trusted, valued professional and colleague from day one.
Responsibilities:- Establish client brief, technical requirements, scope of works and provide information for cost plans either alone or alongside a senior engineer dependent on your current experience level.
- Design, manage and supervise projects.
- Produce drawings and specifications.
- Carry out concept design to detailed design through to tender and completion.
- Determine the need for and attend project progress meetings.
- Maintain client and design team relationships.
- Manage projects from inception through to completion.
- Proven experience as a mechanical design engineer within building services.
- Preferably degree qualified.
- Chartered or a desire to become chartered would be beneficial although not essential.
- Knowledge of British Standards.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
