We are recruiting for a Transport Manager to join a successful manufacturing company based in West Bromwich. The main duties are to supervise and direct the existing transport team and be responsible for the transportation and logistics, ensuring all completed orders are dispatched and received by the client on time.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate production/transport schedules, resources, and staff training and to update on issues and actions taken.
- Organise daily runs/drivers/vehicles.
- Liaise with customers regarding deliveries.
- Maintain the vehicle fleet in good working/road worthy condition.
It is essential candidates have experience within a similar role and hold a CPC card. This is a full time position, Monday β Friday 6am β 3pm.
