Salary: £45k-£50k basic + £5k - £10k bonus

The Opportunity: My client, a growing and well-established property group, is seeking a senior-level Property Management professional to lead the operations and performance of a diverse residential portfolio in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership abilities, commercial awareness, and extensive experience in residential property management to take ownership and make a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and implement strategic management of a residential portfolio (200 properties).
  • Drive performance and commercial growth while maintaining high standards of compliance and tenant satisfaction.
  • Manage maintenance, contractor coordination, safety compliance, and refurbishment works.
  • Lead on tenancy lifecycles including leasing, renewals, check-ins/outs, inventories, and dispute resolution.
  • Maintain and develop tenant relationships, handling complaints, notices, and legal matters.
  • Budget management, arrears control, financial reporting, and cost optimisation.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of property and maintenance professionals, setting objectives and performance reviews.
  • Stay abreast of legislation and best practices, ensuring full regulatory compliance.

About You:

  • 5 years' experience in residential property management.
  • Have experience of working with social housing tenants.
  • Proven team leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commercially astute, with solid financial and budgeting experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office.
  • ARLA, IRPM, or RICS qualifications are desirable but not essential.
  • Full UK driving licence (manual) required.
