Electrical Project Manager – EV Charging Projects (Contract) – Manchester  Boyd Recruitment are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead and deliver cutting-edge Solar & EV charging infrastructure projects across the UK. This is a contract position, ideal for a proactive professional with a background in electrical construction and a passion for sustainable energy. 📍 Location: UK Wide (accommodation and travel provided)  📅 Contract Length: Initial 6 months (with potential extension or possibility of going permanent) Key Responsibilities: Oversee the full lifecycle of EV charging projects – from planning and procurement to installation and commissioning. Coordinate with stakeholders, subcontractors, and local authorities to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery. Manage site HSE compliance, quality control, and technical documentation. Work closely with DNO Provide leadership to site teams and ensure alignment with project goals and industry standards. Requirements: Proven experience managing electrical infrastructure or EV charging projects. Must come from an Electrical background Strong knowledge of BS7671 wiring regulations and NICEIC standards. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and site drawings. Excellent project coordination and communication skills. ECS / CSCS, SMSTS or equivalent certification (preferred)
