WPRG have an opportunity for HGV Class 2 HIAB Drivers to work on a TEMP TO PERM basis in Southall. Our client based in Southall is one of the leading roofing material suppliers in the UK. You will be responsible for the delivery and collection of roofing materials with the assistance of a Hiab/crane. You must ensure all products are delivered and collected safely and meet the expected quality.
Your HGV Class 2 HIAB role involves:
- Delivering and collecting roofing materials with the assistance of a Hiab/crane.
- Maintaining the vehicle to a high standard.
- Achieving operational targets and contractual KPIs.
- Providing accurate daily information to enable an effective handover.
- Ensuring a safe and productive workplace where the company’s legislative and commercial obligations are met.
- Assisting the site staff with making up and loading of vehicles.
This is a Monday - Friday role (07:00am - 16:30pm).
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Minimum 3 years of previous experience in driving HGVs.
- Experience in using Digital Tacho card.
- Crane/Hiab knowledge would be advantageous but not essential.
- Full drivers CPC is essential.
- Ability to work on your own initiative, working to strict deadlines.
- Well-developed organisational skills and commitment to deliver consistent quality.
- Good communication both verbal and written.
- Customer and company focused with a pro-active approach.
- Knowledge or experience of working in the roofing sector would be advantageous, but not essential.
THIS IS A TEMP TO PERM POSITION - YOU WILL COMPLETE 13 WEEKS WITH THE AGENCY THEN TRANSFER FULL TIME.
Pay while with WPRG: £18.00 per hour exc. Hol / £20.17 per hour inc. Hol
Pay once full time permanent with the employer: £36,250.00 p/a (additional pay below)
After 6 months: An extra £1000.00
Progression Tests: Up to £1200.00
Plus any Quarterly Branch Bonus

- Annual Leave: 20 days per year including 5 days at Christmas plus bank holidays
- Annual leave year runs January 1st - 31st December
