ENS Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced nurse qualified Home Manager. Our client is a specialist provider of learning disability services, dementia, elderly care, end of care and mental health across London and Essex. They are recruiting for a Nurse Qualified Home Manager for their 70 bed nursing home based in the Colchester, Essex area.

  • Basic salary: £65,000 per annum
  • Annual leave: 33 days increasing with length of service (including bank holidays)

Essential Experience:

  • Experience of managing a large nursing home effectively
  • Experienced nurse with current NMC pin number
  • Experience of working with older people and people with cognitive impairment
  • Experience of managing a team/leadership skills
  • Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience of care of people with long term conditions e.g. neurological, stroke, heart disease, depression and arthritis
  • Experience of care home environment
  • Knowledge of CQC requirements / Single assessment framework

The Home Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the service ensuring the home provides high quality care and support to all their residents. Providing visionary leadership to the workforce whilst meeting financial targets and maintaining regulatory compliance. Leading and inspiring staff to deliver high-quality, person centred standards of care in line with company Values whilst meeting the operational requirements of the contracts, regulatory requirements of CQC as well as evidencing quality of care through Single Assessment Framework.
