Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off, 06:00 – 18:00 (flexible to business needs)

EXCITING OPPORTUNITY TO LEAD AND MANAGE WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS!

Staffing Match is recruiting on behalf of a leading logistics and distribution company to find a Section Leader. This permanent role is vital for managing people and processes within key warehouse areas to ensure departmental KPIs are met and operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities as a Section Leader:

• Manage assigned warehouse processes including Despatch, Rework, Returns areas.

• Ensure the right resources are deployed to meet performance targets and KPIs.

• Promote and enforce safe working practices throughout the warehouse, taking action on any health and safety breaches.

• Identify and resolve operational problems proactively to minimise disruption.

• Foster a positive working environment through regular communication, feedback, and team engagement.

• Monitor individual and team performance, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to support development.

• Support the Section Manager with formal performance management, absence, and disciplinary processes.

• Drive continuous improvement by identifying areas for development and acting on them.

• Lead or participate in ad hoc projects as required.
