Our client is a well established manufacturing business offering peerless manufacturing solutions to clients. We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Workshop Cleaner / Delivery Driver to join their team. The main responsibilities will be workshop cleaning but there will be an aspect of delivery driving during busy periods and holiday cover. This will require you to support with the delivery of goods to customer premises representing the company in a professional manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining cleanliness of the workshop
  • Cleaning down machinery
  • Sweeping floors
  • Wipe down and remove dust, oil, and debris from CNC machines, lathes, mills, and pattern-making tools.
  • Ensure no residue is left on sensitive equipment that could affect tooling accuracy.
  • Remove metal shavings, sawdust, and other waste materials to prevent slips and injuries.
  • Ensure recycling protocols are followed for relevant materials.
  • Refill consumables such as cleaning fluids, soap, paper towels, etc.

Requirements:

  • Must be over 25 for van insurance purposes.
  • Clean UK driving licence.
  • High level of communication.

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 06.00-14.30
  • 30 min unpaid lunch break

Pay: £12.21 per hour
