Metal Assembler

Job Title: Metal Assembler Location: Leicestershire, LE4 Hourly Rate: £13.53 per hour Shift: 6am – 2pm Monday to Friday Job Overview: Our client is seeking a skilled Metal Assembler to join their manufacturing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling metal components and products according to specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to assemble metal parts accurately. Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, shape, fit, and join metal components. Perform welding, soldering, or brazing operations as required. Inspect assembled products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist with inventory control and proper storage of metal parts and materials. Requirements: Proven experience as a Metal Assembler or similar role in manufacturing or fabrication. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Good physical stamina and manual dexterity. Knowledge of health and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
