Structural Technician Edinburgh First People Solutions is working with a leading consulting engineer who is seeking a talented Structural Technician / Revit Technician to join their structures team. If you have a passion for building structures and possess experience using design software, this is an exciting opportunity to further develop your career with a dynamic and innovative team. Responsibilities: Utilise AutoCAD / Revit software to create accurate and detailed 3D models, focusing on reinforced concrete, timber and steel Collaborate closely with structural engineers and design team to integrate design information and ensure model accuracy and compliance with industry standards Assist in the implementation and maintenance of design standards and best practices within the structures team Stay updated with the latest industry advancements and emerging technologies What we need from you: HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent 3 years of experience within a design engineering environment Proficiency in AutoCAD / Revit is desirable Attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to meet project deadlines Able to communicate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team What\’s in it for you?
