AC Service Engineer

Job Title: AC Service Engineer Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 per annum (DOE) Location: UK-Wide Travel (Home-based with regional travel) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Benefits: AC Service Engineer * £38,000 – £45,000 salary (dependent on experience) * Company vehicle + fuel card * Paid travel time and overtime opportunities * Tools, uniform, and PPE provided * 25 days annual leave + bank holidays * Ongoing training and development * A supportive, growing team within a stable business HBG are looking for an experienced AC Service installer looking to work with a professional, growing M&E company? they deliver high-quality mechanical and electrical services across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects The Role: AC Service Engineer As an AC Service Engineer, you will be responsible for: * Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive servicing of AC systems * Diagnosing and rectifying faults across a range of systems including split, multi-split, and VRF/VRV units * Completing service reports and documentation accurately and on time * Liaising with clients and site contacts to ensure smooth delivery of works * Occasionally supporting minor installation and commissioning tasks What You’ll Need: AC Service Engineer * F-Gas certification (essential) * Strong experience in servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding on AC systems * NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning or Refrigeration (preferred) * Full UK driving licence * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently * Flexibility to travel and work away from home when required
