Zest Education have teamed up with a local Education Provider and College to provide you with a FREE Teaching Assistant training course that will set you on your way to becoming an outstanding Teaching Assistant. Once you have gained your qualification, we can offer you paid employment.

Work will be available across Primary, Secondary and SEN schools depending on your preferences and prior experience.

To qualify for the course, you MUST have the following:

  • Be Aged 19+ on 31/08/2024
  • You MUST be Receiving JSA / ESA / UC / Income Support or earn under 23k per year
  • A Laptop or PC is ESSENTIAL (you cannot complete this course on a smartphone/tablet)
  • Grade C in Maths & English, or equivalent, is desirable
  • Be available Monday – Friday between 10am – 2:30pm for a 4-week period to complete the course
  • Work in schools starts between 8/8.30am to 3.30/4pm. You must be available to work full days, part time work available (1 to 4 days per week – not part time hours)

This is an intensive course, and a fantastic way to get your Teaching Assistant qualification and secure employment within one month!

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years. The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
