Electrical Estimator – Building Services Location: Bury, Greater Manchester Salary: £40,000+ (Depending on Experience) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Working Pattern: Fully Office-Based, Monday-Friday An Electrical Contractor based in Bury is looking for an Electrical Estimator to join their growing commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business delivering full-scope electrical installations across sectors including healthcare, education, hospitality, high-rise residential, public, and industrial. With projects ranging from £1,000 up to £5M in value, you\’ll be working on varied and technically engaging work-alongside a highly capable operations and delivery team. You\’ll play a key role in the business, mentoring junior team members and leading the pricing function. The businesses reputation for supporting its staff is exemplary and they have always had an ethos of supporting career progression. A significant proportion of their workforce having tenure over 10 years. They have 70+ cards in workers on the tools, so they have significant resource available for successful delivery. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed electrical estimates and tender submissions for projects up to £5M Analyse drawings, specifications, and scope documentation to produce accurate costings Liaise with project managers, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors during the tender process Attend tender meetings and contribute to handovers to the project delivery team Mentor and support junior staff as required Work closely with in-house teams on installations and project planningRequirements: Minimum 2-3 years\’ experience in an Electrical Estimator role Ideally time spent on-the-tools prior to moving into estimating Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and contracting practices Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Excellent communication and organisational skills Fully office-based role – must be comfortable working in a team environment dailyWhat\’s on Offer: Salary of £40,000+ depending on experience.Calibre Search promote equality in the workplace and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified candidates regardless of their sex, race, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
