Could you be the full-time Material Handler to join our team in Plymouth and be a key member of the Supply Chain Team based at Laira depot, to process delivered material to the customer and returning material to the Supply Chain to ensure availability of material?

Your future role:

  • Check delivery quality and quantity of material on delivery.
  • Book material into the computerised system.
  • Hand over material to customer ensuring traceability.
  • Produce documentation and complete stock audits.
  • Pick and package kits for Exams and remote depots.
  • Pick, pack and process broken material to the external Supply Chain.
  • Using computer systems to manage material to hold accurate information related to all aspects of the Stores function.
  • Arranging transport requirements.
  • Managing deliveries to/from depots.
  • Maintaining housekeeping standards.

  • 5 GCSE’s Grade C and above, including Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Desirably currently holds Counter Balance and Flexi Truck licences.
  • Experience within a stores environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Maximo systems.
  • Ability to liaise with other departments and suppliers.
  • Ability to use IT tools such as Excel, Word and MS Office systems.
