Dalgety Bay Care Home is a luxury, purpose-built care home at the heart of the local community. Known for its first-class facilities, warm atmosphere and exceptional care, our home offers all-inclusive living in a modern, supportive environment.
Mealtimes are a key part of life here, and we are now looking for a committed and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly team. This is your opportunity to support our chefs in creating nutritious, enjoyable meals that truly make a difference to our residentsβ day.
What we offer:
- Β£12.21 per hour
- 20 contracted hours per week
- Paid PVG, pension scheme, free uniform and onsite parking
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

Your role:
As Kitchen Assistant, you will help with preparing ingredients, keeping the kitchen clean and organised, and ensuring safe food handling at all times. You will also assist with receiving deliveries and maintaining stock, supporting the smooth daily running of our kitchen. Whether you are plating up meals, wiping down surfaces or sharing a kind word with a colleague, your work will contribute to a positive environment where residents feel cared for and valued.
What we are looking for:
We welcome applicants with a good work ethic, a team-focused attitude and attention to detail. Previous experience in a kitchen or catering setting is helpful but not essential, as full training will be given. More than anything, we are looking for someone who takes pride in their role and enjoys being part of a team that makes a real difference.
