Renfrewshire Council is seeking enthusiastic and skilled Facilities Operatives to deliver a high-quality, modern Soft Facilities Management service across schools in Renfrewshire. The successful candidates will be responsible for the effective delivery of all aspects of the Soft FM service at the site level, including building cleaning, catering, school crossing patrol, security, and related services.
Applicants should have a flexible approach to working hours, experience in a customer-focused environment, and be willing to work as part of a team. Prior experience in Soft FM in a similar environment and a willingness to undertake training are desirable.
Essential skills include literacy, numeracy, and IT skills, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office being advantageous. Effective communication with customers and colleagues is required.
An REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate is essential, or candidates should be willing to work towards it if not already obtained. If selected, you will need to undergo a Disclosure Scotland check, with the level of check determined by the duties of the position.
