- Prepare surfaces for painting through washing, scraping, sanding, etc.
- Caulk, putty, cement, or plaster holes and cracks
- Paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or other tools; prepare walls and hang wallpaper or other coverings
- Determine and specify appropriate materials and quantities for projects
- Evaluate customer requests, estimate costs, troubleshoot issues, and explain work orders to clients
- Knowledge of other trades is highly desirable
- At least 5 years of experience assisting homeowners
- Enjoy solving homeowners’ problems and exceeding expectations
- Strong collaboration skills with fellow craftsmen
- Excellent time management
- Effective communication skills
- Valid ON driver’s license
- Reliable personal transportation
- Self-motivated with minimal supervision
- Adherence to company policies
