Job Description:

  • Provides technical guidance on the operability of systems and equipment.
  • Interact with client on commissioning requirements.
  • Assist and guide project staff in outlining commission responsibilities/requirements/planning.
  • Review plans and specifications to ensure practical and efficient designs, collaborate with the design team to optimize systems, avoid any interference and identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • To develop maintenance strategies.
  • Assist in creating operation and maintenance manuals and commissioning procedures.
  • Coordinator between the design team and operational stakeholders to ensure that operational and maintenance needs are adequately considered in the project design.

Skills and Competence:

  • BSc/BEng qualified in the stated discipline.
  • Water industry projects experience.
  • Experience as operations manager or as commissioning manager of a treatment plant, and with demonstrable ability to operate at the level defined.
