Responsibilities- Erect and install structural steel components according to blueprints and specifications
- Perform welding and bolt-up activities as required to secure structural elements
- Use a variety of tools and equipment to fabricate, measure, and cut steel beams and columns
- Safely operate cranes and aerial lifts to lift and position structural components
- Conduct inspections to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with other team members, such as welders, fabricators, and engineers, to complete projects on time and within budget
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Iron Worker in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of structural steel components and their installation processes
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate cranes, aerial lifts, and other construction equipment
- Excellent welding and bolt-up skills
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Be able to pass background and drug test
