Job Title: Funeral Service Crew

Pay: £12.40 per hour plus benefits

Type: Part-time, 18.75 hours per week, varied shifts (Monday to Friday), with on-call rota

Location: Kilsyth, G65 9DG

Vacancies: One permanent and one 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover)

No experience needed. Full training provided. A full UK manual driver’s license is required.

Role Overview

Help families say goodbye to loved ones as part of our funeral service team. Responsibilities include:

• Transporting the deceased professionally and empathetically
• Handling coffins and driving funeral vehicles
• Maintaining equipment and vehicle cleanliness
• Preparing coffins and engraving nameplates
• Preparing the deceased for viewings and funerals

Ideal Candidate

• Possesses a full UK manual driving license
• Has a sensitive approach to customer service and attention to detail
• Can react calmly and compassionately in emotional circumstances
• Capable of manual lifting and physical tasks
