Desirable experience includes:
- Conducting site visits and preparing site inspection or technical reports
- Carrying out fire risk assessments (FRAs)
- Preparing Fire Risk Appraisals of External Walls (FRAEWs) in accordance with PAS 9980
- Strong understanding of building construction and design, particularly in high-rise residential developments
- Providing clear, detailed advice on fire safety matters across various building types
- Attending client and design team meetings to support compliance with Building Regulations, using guidance such as Approved Document B, BS 9999, and BS 9991
- Supporting clients in meeting their responsibilities under the Building Safety Act and related legislation
