The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
We are looking for Relief Support Workers to join our small, friendly existing team working at one of our 24 hour supported living services for seven adults who each live in a one bedroomed furnished flat in the beautiful, conservation area of Stanwix in Carlisle (the project is easily accessible on public transport).
You will provide positive support to individuals to enable them to participate in community activities. You will also work with and develop a personal support plan that addresses individual specific needs, helping service users to develop domestic, financial and emotional management and achieve greater independence and self-esteem. You will actively liaise with statutory, voluntary agencies and advocates/family members.
We are looking for dedicated, flexible and responsive individuals to provide personalised support in line with the principles of recovery. We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated, have a positive outlook and are able to engage and motivate individuals to participate in a range of activities. You will have a keen insight into the challenges that our clients face on a daily basis and awareness of the delivery of supported living care. Prior support related experience of at least twelve months is essential.
You must be able to work flexible shifts on a relief basis and you should enjoy working as part of a team.
