Responsibilities

• Work at various locations throughout the UK undertaking new electrical installation works.
• Carry out a selection of minor civil/construction duties such as clearing cable routes, making holes in walls to enable electrical installations.
• Test newly installed circuits/cabling and record results.
• Complete test certification efficiently and submit for approval from the qualifying manager.
• Assist other engineers as required.
• Ensure all equipment checks are undertaken prior to commencing works.
• Handle uplifting and offloading of materials in a compliant, safe manner.
• Take responsibility for the security of all company equipment.
• Read and sign RAMS documentation; ensure works comply with health and safety requirements.
• Identify repair work required and liaise with customers on site regarding ongoing works and further services.
• Complete all works paperwork and submit in a timely manner to divisional staff.
• Coordinate with line manager/office staff and suggest improvements or opportunities.
• Undertake any other duties for which the electrician is qualified and capable.

About you

• Must possess a current legal Driving Licence.
• Experience completing RAMS documentation.
• Willingness to undertake additional training to increase capability.
• C&G 2330 or equivalent.
• NVQ3.
• Test & Inspection qualification.
• Right to work in the UK.
