Due to continued growth, this market leading manufacturer of advanced metal precision components to multiple manufacturing sectors has a new vacancy for a Rolling Mill Setter / Operator to join the current team.
Commutable from: Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Alcester, Evesham.
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 p.a. + benefits
The Role
The Setter / Operator role is full-time Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30 hrs (15:00 on hrs finish on Friday). They are seeking a skilled Setter / Operator on rolling mills, slitting/shearing machines and loading of the furnaces on site.
You will work as part of a busy team to achieve the required machine throughput of work and ensuring that work is carried out safely and in a clean and tidy manner. Excellent training will be provided and the role will require some engagement with the ERP system, hence manufacturing experience is needed for the position.
The Person
Ideally possessing both manufacturing experience and the ability to read a technical drawing, you will be able to draw on previous experience of metal cutting / forming and be able to work in a fast paced, quality driven environment. The role offers excellent training and progression alongside the opportunity to enhance earnings through paid overtime. Previous experience using FLT is highly desirable; training will be provided alongside learning the manufacturing processes.
