Are you an organised, proactive individual with experience in stock control and vehicle parts inventory? We’re looking for a dedicated HGV Parts Advisor to join a busy vehicle maintenance team based in Huntingdon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory levels using a computerised stock system.
- Manage goods inwards, stock putaway, picking, and issuing to technicians.
- Ensure timely and accurate receipt of inward stock and processing of returns.
- Raise purchase orders and liaise with suppliers to ensure stock availability.
- Conduct stock counts and assist in annual stock take procedures.
- Identify and minimise obsolete stock while maintaining optimal stock levels.
Requirements:
- Experience with computerised stock/inventory systems.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Organised, methodical, and detail-oriented.
- Physically fit – able to handle heavy goods.
- Proficient in using inventory databases and general IT systems.
