Early Years Specialist Support Assistant | 8172 | Permanent contract | 37 hours per week, term time plus two weeks | £22,472 to £23,952 per annum | Grade E | Countywide
Come and join our dynamic team supporting deaf children and young people across Norfolk.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Virtual School Sensory Support\’s Early Years team, working to promote the outcomes of Deaf Children and Young People from 0-5.
In this role, you will work under the guidance of the Lead Teachers for Early Years to support individual children and their families, often from the point of diagnosis.
The job is varied, and no two days are the same.
While experience and knowledge of working within Early Years is desirable, a willingness to learn specialist skills and to be flexible are essential qualities.
The children and young people have a range of needs and communication approaches.
Ability to travel is essential.
